Septic System Options – Find the Best Fit for Your Property

Whether you’re building a new home or replacing an existing system, choosing the right septic system is critical for long-term reliability. At James Backhoe Service, we combine 35+ years of experience with the latest technology to design and install a system that meets your property’s unique needs.

How We Help You Decide:

  • Schedule a site evaluation: We assess your property, soil, and water conditions.

  • Provide a custom recommendation: We’ll explain the best system options for your situation.

  • Give a written price quote: Transparent pricing with no surprises.

Every property is different, and recent regulations make “one-size-fits-all” solutions impossible. That’s why each system we install is carefully designed for your site, ensuring long-term performance and compliance.

Surface Discharging

These systems discharge treated effluent above the ground.

Hydro-Action Aerobic System

  • Produces clear, odorless effluent safe to discharge as long as it stays at least 25 feet from your property line and away from rivers, lakes, or streams.

  • Reliable, low-maintenance, and environmentally friendly.

Hydro-Action NPDES Aerobic System

  • Designed for discharge into waterways under a USEPA NPDES permit.

  • Ideal for sites that require surface discharge into rivers, streams, or creeks.

Septic Tank into Full-Size Lateral Field

  • Traditional underground system.

  • Requires soil evaluation to size the leach field.

  • Must maintain 2–3 feet separation from the seasonal high water table.

Hydro-Action Aerobic System into 2/3-Size Lateral Field

  • Uses aerobic treatment to reduce leach field size.

  • Requires just 1-foot separation from the seasonal high water table.

  • Perfect when space or soil conditions limit a full-size field.

Hydro-Action Aerobic System into Low-Pressure Dosing Lateral Field

  • Effluent is pressurized from a pump tank to a lateral leach field.

  • Installed when gravity-fed systems are not feasible.

  • Requires 1-foot separation from the high water table.
